Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Airport

Place absolutely rocks for service, quality, shuttle, food, everything. Stayed her Thanksgiving 2024 very impressed by the attentive ess to our needs with children, pregnant wife, etc. completely on it not one problem. Got a pack and play up to the room and setup with sheets before we got up the elevator somehow, like magic? My boys love airplanes so the view of the runway was epic! Noise level was not an issue.

Nice hotel that I have stayed at many times before usually on business trips. Right across the street from the airport and very close to any other place you may want to visit in the Portland area. I don’t write many reviews but in this case I felt it was well deserved. One of the evenings I was there we ate at the restaurant in the main lobby where we met our host and server Indir. He did such a great job and was very friendly and funny. Traits that you rarely find in customer service these days which is why I wanted to share my experience. Food and drinks were great. I will definitely be back. Thank you Indir!

Thank you to Kaylene, guest services manager, and her team, for making our visit memorable. This is a lovely hotel with a water feature in the center courtyard that is very pleasing. Located close to the airport so we had an easy shuttle ride back back-and-forth. Health club had helpful tidbits of information to help you use of the equipment. Food was great. Thank you to Brie for tending to our table at supper time. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Judy did a great job with the omelettes. Front Desk was very helpful with questions about where to go.

The PDX Embassy Suites offered the best experience Ive had at an Embassy hotel in a long time! It is very conveniently located about .5 miles from the airport terminal. Aircraft noise wasn't an issue even with the close proximity to the runways. The hotel is very esthetically pleasing inside. The lounge/bar/restaurant area was somewhat unique as it extends on both sides of the walkway & fish pond. There are only one set of elevators and even though 1 of the 3 was out of order, the wait wasn't long at all. The room itself was quite surprising. Even though Im loyal to the brand, Embassy Suites hotels are notoriously dated inside the rooms. That is not the case at PDX. The furniture appeared to be recently updated and in pristine condition (no stains, fading , fraying or scratches). The room was very clean and comfortable. The bedspread appeared to have just been placed on top of the bed without the customary tucking in but it wasnt an issue. The complimentary cook to order breakfast was very good. The only drawback was the fee based parking ($20/night) but that has become a standard nuisance fee posed at most, if not all, Embassy hotels now. A convenience store/gas station is located directly across the street and an entire shopping/eating district is within a 5-7 drive. Very nice stay at the PDX Embassy Suites and Im sure it will be my hotel of choice whenever I'm in Portland.

This is an older hotel with dated furniture, but it was somewhat clean. There were a few items left in my room from the previous guest that should have been removed. The front desk staff wasn’t rude, but also not very welcoming. A simple greeting would have gone a long way. Parking is handled through a third-party vendor, which I found unusual, but it is part of their policy. Overall, my stay was okay with no major complaints. I would stay again if I didn’t have another option, as this was a work-related stay.

For a quick stay, this was just what I needed. Easy check in, attractive lobby with the bar and restaurant well-defined, and nice open hallway. The suite was open and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Overnight I could hear traffic, but it wasn't too loud, and I couldn't hear anything in the hall or from the next room. Comfortable sleep.

Great location and service. Staff is really nice. Not five stars because the rooms are older and dated. Air-conditioning can’t keep up with the room. Not terrible but definitely feels like it’s 20 to 30 years old.

We checked in very late due to our flights arriving late at night, but the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was clean! The breakfast was incredible - loved the made to order omelettes!! There were also several gluten free options at breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!
